Tuesday, July 17, 2018

In the presence of HE Dr Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, and HE Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, The British University in Dubai (BUiD) has held a press conference to announce the launch of its new undergraduate programmes, including the first Bachelors degree in Artificial Intelligence. The press conference was attended by Dr Abdulla Al Karam, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), and representatives from the Knowledge Fund, Dubai Statistics Centre, and the University’s Council.

BUiD, the leading research-based university in the UAE and the region, has also entered into collaborative agreements with two world-renowned universities in the UK, the University of Edinburgh and the University of Glasgow.

Now BUiD offers undergraduate studies after it had carved a niche for itself as an exclusively graduate university. This will certainly be a great advantage for new students to benefit from an immense amount of research and graduate teaching experience from the faculty at BUiD.
