BUiD’s professor presents at the 26th IEEE International Requirements Engineering Conference

Dr Cornelius Ncube, Associate Professor of Computer Science, presented a research paper at the 26th IEEE International Requirements Engineering Conference (RE2018) held in Banff, Alberta, Canada on 20-24 August 2018.

 In his paper ,”On the Systems of Systems Engineering: a Requirements Engineering Perspective and Research Agenda", Dr Ncube  explored the emergence of Systems of Systems (SoSs) and Systems of Systems Engineering (SoSE) as largely driven by global societal needs including energy-water-food-climate nexus, global population demographics, smart cities, integrated transport, global security, The Fourth Industrial Revolution, etc.

The conference is a category “A” event that brings together the leading researchers and practitioners in the field and offers an extensive programme of interest to academia, government and industry.
