Boussabaine has more than 25 years of experience in risk modelling and management. He holds PhD and MSc from Manchester University in UK.

Boussabaine has more than 25 years of experience in risk modelling and management. He holds PhD and MSc from Manchester University in UK.  His consistent research interest has been to pull together and integrates various modern scientific theories and the state of the art modelling techniques in order to gain a better understanding of the complexity of risk. Recently his research portfolio has been expanded to encompass the impact of emerging risks on a variety of complex human decisions that affect natural systems, social systems and human-made networks. He has published four books and over 100 research articles.  He has supervised over 20 decorate research project. He has acted as external PhD examiner for several UK and European universities. He act as peer reviewer for many leading international journals. He assess research proposals and final reports for UK and EU research councils. He has delivered training courses in UK, Europe, Asia and MENA regions He is an honorary visitor to Liverpool and Manchester Universities in UK. His current research agenda focuses on identifying, quantifying and modelling risk dynamics that create failure/opportunity in enterprises and projects. Research topics are available for suitable doctorate. candidates.
