Nishath Syed, Head of Communications and Corporate Relations at BUiD, was invited as a guest speaker at the Digital Marketing Summit held at the Grosvenor hotel in Dubai on 15 -16 November. She spoke about the latest trends in marketing and the impact of technology advancement on marketing and communication sector. In her presentation, she highlighted the fast evolving consumer who is always plugged to the net with an excess exposure to content. Getting the consumers’ attention for more than few seconds will need strong content that is well researched, addresses the consumers’ pain points, and engages the consumers.
She also spoke about the new technology and approach for Content Marketing such as: Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality. These are going to take a good share of marketing budgets in the coming years, which requires organisations to invest in the workforce and allow the employees to develop new set of skills.
